Not far away is placed the Trinity College Irish Pub, but the drinks there tend to be quite expensive. If you happen to be near the district of Trastevere, there you will find plenty of nice places to eat and drink. During the summer one can visit the island Isola Tiberina, which hosts a temporary bar.

The main railway station in Barcelona could be found in the northwestern part of the city center and it could be accessed with a metro or a bus from every point in the city. It is placed between the squares Placa Joan Peiro and Placa dels Paisos and has two entrances. The railway station was built in the 1970’s in a modern style that resembles the airports. Sants Estacio railway station in Barcelona is serviced by a station on lines 3 and 5 of the Barcelona Metro system. Metro line 3 operates since year 1975 and it has a hall on every side of the station, however in order to access the railways station one needs to go through the hall on line 5. The Barcelona metro line 3 station is serviced by several elevators. The other station, Barcelona Metro line 5, is working since year 1969 when the line between Diagonal and Collblanc was opened. It is placed on the northern part of the railway station and has its own hall and two direct connections to the railway station. It also has a connection with line 3.
